Great coffee doesn’t have to come from a café. With the right beans, tools, and techniques, you can brew café-quality coffee right at home. At Brewed Roots, we believe that coffee should be simple, satisfying, and soulful.
Start With Fresh, Quality Beans
Freshness matters. Choose micro-batch roasted beans, and grind just before brewing for peak flavor.

Perfect Your Ratio
Use the golden ratio: 1g of coffee to 16.5g of water (about 2 tbsp per 6oz cup).
Mind the Water Temperature
Brew between 195°F–205°F. Boil, then let water sit for 30 seconds before pouring.
Match Grind to Brew Method
French Press → Coarse
Pour-Over → Medium-Fine
Espresso → Fine
Consistency Is Key
Keep notes on ratios, grind, and brew time. Tweak one thing at a time.
Conclusion:
Brewing is both an art and a ritual. With practice, your morning cup will be more than coffee — it’ll be connection, culture, and care.
